TOWARDS A VISION FOR A BETTER WORLD!
THE IDEA OF 'POEGTAP' was born out of a Christmas-time conversation a few years ago in our little chapel at Blackshaw Head, high in Pennine West Yorkshire, (although the real idea behind it was born at Christmas-time a couple of thousand years before).
It is, in essence, to hold on to the 'Christmas Spirit', and the Christmas message of "Peace On Earth, Goodwill To All People", (or POEGTAP for short), and explore together, in an on-line community, how this can become more of a reality in our lives and in our world - for life, not just as part of Christmas.
Our ultimate aim is to create a Poegtap Online Community, to be based around our 7-point 'Humanifesto', with discussion pages, links, reference sources and more.
In the meantime, please explore these pages to get an idea of what we are about and to consider whether it is something you would be interested in getting involved with.
The plan is that we kick-start some themes on this website and then folk chip in with their own ideas, source material and experiences to help to build up a resource for a new way of living. We hope to post comments and news on our Blog, and build a library of links to useful additional sources.
